Perth-based melodic death metal band VANTA continue their ascent as one of the most exciting modern voices in Australian heavy music.

Formed during the lockdown era as friends swapping files and writing remotely, VANTA came into focus in 2023 with their debut Gravemind EP. The project grew rapidly after their debut EP, with Jesse Venus stepping in and locking into a shared vision with Ferdinand Handojo and Thien Huynh. Since then, the trio have been crafting something unique in the melodeath space, an approach that fuses their influences with experimentation, storytelling, and a technical edge.
